July 5, 2023/0 Comments/in News

In June 2023, our Strategic Director, David Nabarro, had the privilege of joining Melissa Fleming, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, for an episode on the seventh season of her podcast, Awake at Night.

The episode sheds a light on his his career, focused on global health and details his time that’s taken him from the horrors of war torn Iraq, to the devastating aftermath of the Indian Ocean tsunami. The episode shares how he is still spurred to action by the tremendous inequalities in global access to medical care.
